Marie-Thérèse, satirical medal 1744, rare. Obverse: The Queen of Hungary stands naked, while the Elector of Bavaria carries off her clothes, and the words “I have won” come out of his mouth. Cardinal de Fleury, on the left, approaches the naked sovereign, believing her to be completely at his mercy. Legend: DIE ENTBLOSTE KONIGIN VON UNGARN.

Reverse: Queen Marie-Thérèse seated and putting on a pair of breeches, with a woman (a servant) behind her. The queen says “you have lost” to the Elector of Bavaria, who withdraws while losing his crown. Legend: DIE KONIGIN VON UNGERN ZIEHT EIN BEIJERSCHE HOSE AN. Medal mentioned in the Revue belge de Numismatique of 1876, plate 12, no. 43 (year 1742 on the engraving).
