I offer you for sale on offer this very rare and beautiful shield struck to Nantes in 1784 in the name of louis xvi (20,054 pieces hit, but not listed). Avers: lack of slice at 6 o'clock, + striations of adjustment or wear?
Revers: soft strike or wear at the fault of the slice between 11 and 12 hours. The tranche is in excellent condition as well as most of the reliefs of the currency, which suggests that the currency did not circulate much and thus that the strike (or at least a very sudden shock) is at the origin of most of the defects of the currency.
