Rare Italian 1 euro coin from 2002, highly sought after. Obverse: Reproduction of Leonardo da Vinci's Vitruvian Man, surrounded by the 12 stars of the EU. In the upper part, the letters "R" and "RI" superimposed. On the left, the letter R, on the right the year of minting. In the lower left part, the initials of the author "LC" superimposed. Reverse: A map showing the 15 EU member states, united, is represented on a dynamic canvas composed of 12 EU stars. Composition: bimetallic, with a nickel center covered with cupronickel and a brass nickel outer ring. Technique: struck with a press.
