Exceptional set of gilded bronze tokens of zodiac signs. Most likely a unique piece.

Set offered in tribute to Mr. Maurice Druon, on the occasion of his marriage to Madeleine Druon in September 1968, two years after his appointment to the French Academy.

Probably offered by his friend Pierre Dehaye, then director of the Paris Mint, who would later be elected to the Academy of Fine Arts in 1975. Provenance: personal collection of Mr.
