This is the token piece shown in the photo that you will receive, an uncirculated piece delivered in a capsule. In March 1994, Pierre Rodier, who had just taken up the post of Chief Engraver, chose his privy mark, the bee. To make it known, he decided to engrave a token.
The people in charge of the Mint at the time refused to allow this token to be sold commercially, and only about fifteen were made.
