Very Rare Denarius of Geta

  

His bust, bare-headed and draped, facing right. In three lines within an oak wreath.

Although this reverse type is known for Geta, this variety, with these particular breaks in the legend, is known from only three specimens; cf. RSC 196a, all of which have the earlier type of obverse legend for Geta, containing his first initial “L” rather than “P”.
